Hi Xfive,
I’m looking to create an online shop on Shopify for selling blinds. I also need some work done for my business’ branding. Can you assist me with both?
Absolutely! I’d be happy to assist you in setting up your Shopify shop for selling blinds and the branding . Let’s discuss your requirements and get started!
That’s great to hear! I want my online shop to have a modern and user‑friendly design. I also need it to be easy for me to manage products, track inventory, and process orders. What are your thoughts on these aspects?
Definitely! We can create a sleek and professional Shopify website that aligns with your brand. There are numerous customizable themes available, and we can select one that suits your vision.

Kick-off
At this stage Pawel (Project Manager) and Mateusz (Product Designer) join the project.
Hi Alan. Nice to e-meet you 👋
I also want to introduce Mateusz who will work on branding and design.
Hi 👋
Hi guys. Let’s kick this off 🚀
Hi Mateusz,
I have had a few ideas regarding branding and logo. I want us to start with something simple. Cool?
I had a look at the color palette and it looks good.
Are there any competitors around, or did you see a logo from industry that you like? That could help me with picking up the correct style.
I don’t have anything in mind, so I’m happy with you to experiment. Probably a crisp and clean design which is easy to print. I am open to turning beach box into a graphic logo. Dark blue and white for strong line definitions? What do you think?
Oh, I miss the beach box 😉 I have some nice memories related to it. I can definitely make something from this shape. I’ll return to you with some concepts tomorrow.
I have sketched some simple house shapes with horizontal or vertical lines which would symbolize blinds. Lmk your thoughts.
I think bottom row, second from the left is the closest to what I had in mind. Can we just make it a rectangle and have one blind up and one down? Also, I would like the Blinds Downunder text underneath the image. I think we are onto something 🙌
How about this? I did try the lines under the symbol but this horizontal alignment will work much better in the website layout.
Agreed. We would like to go ahead with the rectangle design. It’s very beautiful 👏
I worked on tiny details like letter spacing, line thickness, etc. and a color palette. I particularly like shades of navy blue. Thoughts?
Thanks for playing with the colors. We actually like all of them so maybe we’ll end up having light and dark variants?

Wireframes and Designs
The next logical step in our design process is to create user flows and wireframes.
With a logo and style tile in place, Mateusz can start working on some wireframes for the website. After you approve them, he’ll move on to user interface work.
Sounds like a plan!
I am sharing wireframes ready for review.
The looks terrific. Let’s move on with the design part.

This is the homepage.

Development phase
Despite our extensive knowledge of e-commerce solutions such as WooCommerce and BigCommerce, each new project necessitates a thorough technical assessment. It is crucial to anticipate any possible challenges and proactively resolve them in order to avoid impeding the release timeline.
Let me introduce the development team: Ola and Prawesh (developers), and Maciek, responsible for Quality Assurance.
Hi Alan!
👋😊
Hi guys. I’m hyped 🤩 Let’s get this done.
We are going to use JIRA for task Management and Slack for daily communication.
The team has already started working on backlog, dividing the scope to epics and tasks and estimating them.
Production release
The final stage of the website development process is when the completed website is ready to go live and be accessible to the public.
Now when we have finished development, is the right time to plan the go-live.
Great, what do you need from me?
We have prepared a deployment plan with the list of tasks and checks that need to be verified.
It looks like you thought of everything.
Time to go live!
